Prince Henrik of Denmark's funeral will take place at 11:00 on
20 February 2018 in Christiansborg Palace Church.
He will be cremated and half of his ashes will be scattered at
sea in Denmark, while the other half will be buried in the
private palace garden of Fredensborg Palace - as per Henrik's
own wish.

Thoughts to Margrethe and the whole family.

Early morning at Fredensborg Castle.
Many people visit to pay their respects and leave a candle or
flowers. There are lots more now.

Sad news, but not unexpected. The decision to put half of his
ashes in the sea and half in the private garden is, to me, a
wonderful one.

Fun little fact about Henri they are telling about on the news.
At Cayx, he liked to go to the local shop to buy lotto tickets.
He bought so he could also give one to each body guard.
