Omg , they brought him home to died. Henrik one of the best
looking men of his era , may he Rest In Peace
I’d like the memory of me to be a happy one.
I’d like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done.
I’d like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways,
Of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days.
       I’d like the tears of those who grieve, to dry before the sun;
Of happy memories that I leave when life is done.

I woke up to this sad news this morning. Henrik has certainly
gave us some good chatter materials all these years. Gonna miss
       him. RIP Henrik.

       Condolences from Sweden

       Translation:
The Queen and I have today, with great sadness, received the
message that Prince Henrik has gone out of time.
I want to express our deepest participation with Queen
Margrethe, Crown Prince Frederik and Prince Joachim with
       families.
There is a close relationship between the Nordic royal houses,
not least through the close ties that connect us. We remember
       Prince Henrik with great warmth.

A statement given to BTDK by the Countess of Frederiksborg on
       Prince Henrik's death:
"Henrik was a human being with a great love for life. He was a
cultured and spontaneous person. I loved him for his laughter,
and he was a true world man who loved life and took everything
he could get out of life, and was a great inspiration for
others. I really loved him so much."

I am glad he could die "at home", in familiar surroundings and
with his family at his side.
He lived a long, full and out of the ordinary life. He was able
to enjoy his last years and do as it pleased him. He was spared
the long descent into dementia, which is a blessing for him as
much as it is for his family.
       May he rest in peace.
