Two things I did not know about Bene: she has an education as a
designer and dress-maker.
When the three sister were young, they were not allowed to go to
restaurants or nightclubs. Bene really wanted to go. so two
friends both Danish counts, arranged a night on the town. They
brought her to both a restaurant, then nightclub. She was
wearing a wig of course.
Ingrid and Frederik heard of this and invited the two young
counts to dinner. At some point, Frederik pulled them aside and
scolded them for what they had done.
When the scolding was done, he exclaimed, Now I have said what
my wife told me to say and I want to personally add, thank you,
young men.

I love that tidbit about the two counts and Frederik's sense of
humor!
Also love how Marge honored her sister, by letting her arrive
last in grand style.
Wonder why bonbon and jokke were not there. Same for Gus and
Carina. I get the feeling that the latter two have made the
choice to be as private as possible.
Maz looked good. Nice dress, nice hairdo, just enough jewelry.
Great look overall.

I agree that it looks very, very strange. First and foremost Gus
and Carina, but also Natalie´s husband not there. Jokke and
Marie are a bit more distant in relations, but still.
Constantine is excused because of age of course.

OK, Marie on an assignment in Denmark today - so now I think it
is super strange they did not attend Benes birthday.

Benedikte is gorgeous and she deserved a celebration for her
support and loyalty to Denmark.
