gustav is not homeless but he cannot give the estate to whomever
he likes.
there's the crazy wil but also some german houses have strict
rules and require equal marriages, i.e. the bride has to have a
similar background. for instance, the next in line after gustav
would have been robin, his father's brother, but since he did
not marry equally, he's out of the equation. it seems that the
estate will go to a branch of the family (sayn wittgenstein
hohenstein).

gustav is not homeless but he cannot give the estate to whomever
he likes.

Wasnīt there talk of perhaps Alexandra and Jeffersonīs son,
Richard von Pfeil und Klein-Ellguth, taking over? His title
seems posh enough! But who knows if he wants to.
What a strange situation for the family!

i do not know if his sister could take over. it looks like in
Germany it goes down the male branch and that females can't take
over, but i am far from an expert.
what i never understood in gustav's case is why he was engaged
to a french aristocrat (not even a major one). i do not think
that it would have qualified as an equal (according to those
rules) marriage.

Congrats to Bene who is 75 today. There will be a dinner held by
Marge tonight, I think at Fredensborg, where she resides now.
There will be footage and photos of guests arriving.

Dinner guests arriving now. Until now, I have only seen elderly
guests, but wow, they arrive FAST, and the ladies look lovely.
They are not afraid of colour! Most dresses are stunning.

My bad, the dinner is at Amalienborg. Everybody arrived now.
As a gesture, the queen let Benedikte arrive last with style.
Carriage and horses. It was very touching really. Bene wears a
beautiful bright green dress.
No Gustav and Carina and no Jokke and Bonbon. Husband of Natalie
not there, reporters did not know why, only that he is not on
the guest list.
I hope I can find a video later, it was nice and festive to see
this.
Two things I did not know about Bene: she has an education as a
designer and dress-maker.
When the three sister were young, they were not allowed to go to
restaurants or nightclubs. Bene really wanted to go. so two
friends both Danish counts, arranged a night on the town. They
brought her to both a restaurant, then nightclub. She was
wearing a wig of course.
Ingrid and Frederik heard of this and invited the two young
counts to dinner. At some point, Frederik pulled them aside and
scolded them for what they had done.
When the scolding was done, he exclaimed, Now I have said what
my wife told me to say and I want to personally add, thank you,
young men.
