The Japanese Royal Family seems shorter than average.
Do you think they're shorter than most Japanese people?
I think Masako is pretty, too, Fragrance. Does your friend find
Aiko pretty?

I love to look at photos of the Japanese royal family doing
public events and try to pick out the "dragon ladies" from the
royal household who accompany them and keep an eagle eye on them
at all times. One woman has appeared in many of the photos, and
she scares the bejeebers out of me.

When the emperor abdicates next May, do you think he'll have to
disappear from public view like the royal daughters do when they
marry non-royals? I think I'd prefer he be like The
Bea...stepping out from time to time to help his son carry the
workload. I can't imagine what a retired emperor would do with
all his spare time if he's not permitted some kind of life
outside his home.
