The day before the wedding, I saw Jokke and her riding through
Copenhagen in a horse carriage. Snow falling in big, soft
cascades. It was really perfect. Alex looked very beautiful.
The wedding dress: I am hard to please when it comes to wedding
dresses. There are soooo few I like!
       [/quote]
totally off topic but now i am curious which royal dresses you
       like?

None, really! I donīt like the style or idea of those dresses. I
think most of them look awful and not very flattering. I will
have to think about your question, I canīt think of any wedding
       dresses I actually like.

Oh, Alexandra. She tries covering up her eyes with the glasses,
so she can see it is a botched face job. How very tragic.

At least she is open about the facial surgery.

Her eyes don't look like they've completely healed or didn't go
to a good surgeon. A lot of people who have hooded eyes have to
have them done so they can see.

Alexandra is trying to sell her house in Charlottenlund north of
Copenhagen. She put in on the market early this year and bought
an apartment in central Copenhagen in June.
I think she lives in that apartment now.
At first the real estate site only had photos of the house seen
from the outside, but since they havenīt been able to sell, they
now publish pictures from inside. The price, however, has not
gone down. BTW. when she bought, she paid 4 million Danish
Kroner less for it. I think she used money on renovations.
I am surprised at how "modest" the house is. It is nothing
special compared to other villas in that area. There are some
mansions that take your breath away.

thank you for sharing this. i love looking at homes/houses. i
see what you are saying and kind of agree with you.
it's surprising how (relatively) modest it is when you think she
lived there with her two sons (and Martin at some point).

I am not a 100% sure she lived there with Martin. She did have a
large mansion closer to the city, but she sold it. The mansion
she got when she divorced Jokke. I think that is where she lived
       with Martin.
Here it is, much bigger! What does she do with all that money?"
She sold it for 25 millions. I believe it was hers to keep when
       they divorced.

No, I was wrong. She wanted 25 mill for it, but got 23. Still a
       lot of money.
She paid 11 mill for her Charlottenlund villa, 12 mill for her
apartment in Copenhagen (where she lives now).

Thanks for the follow up Abs. I was a tad confused as I vaguely
remembered another home but had missed the part where she also
bought a house when she got her apartment in the city.
