George Bush Sr's Funeral is scheduled for 5 Dec 2018.
Confirmed royals so far who are attending are Charles Windsor
and Abdullah Jordan.

I was quite moved by the ceremony today.
I don´t agree with many of the things he did as a president, but
it is like an era of decency is over.

It was very sweet that George and Barbara Bush´s daughter Robin,
who passed away from leukemia two months prior to her fourth
birhday.
You could tell that losing her was a big part of the family to
this day.
Another thing, George Bush jr did not forget a mint for Michelle
Obama even at this event. They really have a special friendship!

I like this reader comment from the article:
She was inpatient in Westminster hospital in late sixties. When
ever she requested a call she was polite and friendly when she
came through to switchboard. When she left she sent flowers and
chocolates to staff. Never forgot that, a very nice lady.

Not a sporting person but the news of Kobe Bryant and his
daughter plus three other souls in a helicopter crash is
absolutely shocking. My American Sister in law has been
messaging me about it . May they rest in peace , his widow and
children have the strength to cope with the loss of a husband/
daddy , daughter / sister. His poor wife ... a heavy burden for
her.

Here in the US people are shell shocked by this news. It was
hard enough to hear and then when it was confirmed his daughter
was on board.. I don’t know a single person not overwhelmed with
sadness for them and their families and the others on board. I
know the LA area, so many mountain ranges and it was foggy this
morning.
