Food - it is difficult to get the normal weekly items.
Often I haven't been able to get - flour, bread, soap,
metholated spirits, toilet paper, milk.
I'm cooking combinations of meat with any old vegies; eggs with
vegies; cheese toasties with beans; tuna morney with rice and
green beans; curried chicken or beef and colourful mash;
spag.bol.; fish and vegies; roast chicken and next night chicken
soup. It's amazing how I miss the odd take away meal so much!
I'm eating more snacks like handfuls of blueberries, coffee,
tea, cheese, o juice, almonds.....

Fortunately I am used to being creative with food, so this part
of it is not difficult for me.
I hate shopping - always, so I make do with what is there for as
long as possible, and that is normal! :D ;D

As I've said many times, I'm the world's worst cook so various
shortages in the grocery store have been a real challenge to my
meager food prep skills. To say nothing of the (apparently)
world-wide hoarding of toilet paper. Why in the world people
are hoarding toilet paper I'll never know, but things will reach
a crisis point here in the Chris household within a week if I'm
not able to find a roll or two somewhere. Although people
managed without bathroom paper products 200 years ago, so I'm
sure we'll all be able to come up with some kind of solution if
things get really desperate! Stay home and stay safe everyone.

Everything was sold out here a couple of weeks ago. People
panicked - and yes, no toilet paper! But it is all back on the
shelves.
You can see from China that they DID have supplies during their
crisis. So will we.
