Recently (Nov 2018)
Spent a few days with local in Badu Island, living & sleeping in
their homes (really??!!), eating and diving with them. Expected
to also visit Townsville briefly as part of Monaco's new role
co-chairing the International Coral Reef Initiative, with
Australia and Indonesia.

Wonderful.
I feel ashamed that people from foreign lands need to help
protect our reefs.
We totally should be arresting some development and ramping up
our protection of our pristine coasts and reefs ourselves.
I have not seen coverage of this. The Prime Minister should be
thankful and welcoming and also giving support. Our politicians
are gutless and too busy knifing each other in the back.
I respected Malcolm Turnbull's stance on the environment but he
is out and he was silenced on it before that. I lose faith in
our elected leaders every day. ???
