It's horrific. There are no words. I'm afraid it's over for that
gorgeous monument.
A few months ago another fire was started in a major church in
Paris (St-Sulpice) and was stopped on time. And now Notre Dame.
I doubt we will ever know or be sure of what really happened
there.

Also the bell towers escaped the fire.

A good lot Was saved , donations rolling in now to rebuild, the
fund should have money left over for up keep. Reported on radio
here today while it was been renovated it was been done on the
cheap. So now hopefully they can totally restore it for the next
800 years .

And more devastation in churches - more than 300 lives lost in
Sri Lanka.
What is the World coming to?!
We should be working together for the benefit of mankind and all
other creatures to regenerate habitats, keep water and air pure,
respect cultures, religions and traditions. Instead, minority
groups insist on destruction and perpetuating war not peace.
Why!!!

A family from Denmark lost 3 of their 4 children at the hotel
Shangri La in the bombings.
Denmark's richest man, the family friends of the Danish royal
family - especially the crown prince couple.
Such a devastating tragedy for everyone inflicted. Again, I have
no words, no words at all.

It’s shocking , the public here aren’t too happy that our media
obsessed Taoiseach hasn’t send condolences to Sri Lanka , he
couldn’t send them fast enough to New Zealand. Many feel that he
is anti Christian and this is proven a point.
