I don't remember his announcements about not being buried with
Marge as being that long ago. Maybe a year? Surely he would
have been exhibiting signs of dementia then. But perhaps not.
Who knows exactly what's been going on? As I've said before,
it's an insidious disease and I feel horribly sorry for the
entire family. I'm just glad Henrik's final illness seems to
have progressed quickly and they'll all be spared a long,
drawn-out ending to his life.

i was actually thinking further back, when he complained about
not being king.
i had a quick look about the burial statement and it seems that
it was last summer. could that be correct? didn't they announce
his illness end of summer or fall?

Summer seems about right to me...not that long ago. And yes, I
think they announced his illness fairly quickly after his burial
announcements. So it sounds like the end of the disease has
progressed very quickly.

Fred, Maz and kids, Jokke, Marie and kids visited this afternoon
after Henri had been transferred to Fredensborg.
But now they are back - it is a little past 10 pm here, a little
late if they brought the kids again.
And never have they visited twice a day - maybe Jokke once.
So I am afraid something is up.

Changing internet providers meant no internet for the day , was
really wondering about Henrik . Glad his being moved , nothing
like your own bed , your own surroundings even if you dont
really know .

Good to have you back.
Plus the family can visit more and it isnīt as intense as
hospital visits. They can go to other rooms and look in on Henri
from time to time.
In a hospital, where will they go sit - especially as royals.
Absolutely the best thing for all.

On Monday Marge is going on a two week, private winter vacation.
Where she is going is not shared with the public.
Freddles will be regent while she is gone.
I hope she has a fantastic holiday with good friends, whereever
it is.
