It takes a lot of effort to be that thin too, especially as you
age. Basically, you don’t eat much.

Well she’s always looked this way so I don’t think it’s an

I say this because my lovely sister was always very thin. Turned
out she had a slowly developing cancer, which wasn´t diagnosed
because apart from being so thin, she looked good.
They didn´t care she had problems with her stomach, but that is
a whole other story.

ABS, it's always the lovely people who it happens to. The
vicious liars will live forever. Once upon a time, I thought I
had 2 lovely sisters. It turns out that they were pathological
liars who leeched every last dollar out of my parents. $3.7 M.
My parents are now living in a 1 BR cottage In NY with NO HEAT
in their 80s, but the youngest sister is still milking them for
$100K a year. Because you know, Your poor, POOR sister Athena...
The other one has not worked a single day in 12 years. No
husband, no kids, just buys things on the internet all day. I
bought my parents the huge BTU wall mount gas fireplace to heat
the cottage, which is sitting on bricks instead of installed to
the wall, because every last penny needs to go to the Vampires..
But they are all delusional.

Duchess, your parents should live comfortably in their old age!
I really feel for them - and I don´t understand your youngest
sister to be still taking money from them. That must stop asap!

Abs, my heart goes out to you and your sister. Doctors are
unfortunately only human beings and they are fallible even if
they do try to do their best. Sending you big hugs.
Duchess, so very sorry to hear about your family history. All
the more credit to you for doing what you can for your parents,
despite their blindness or failings. It's awful to witness
siblings do that as it is to see that the parents do not even
see how unfair they are. Big hugs to you as well.
