Yes, it must be hard. He can still drive horse and carriage,
       which he seems to enjoy.
But it is a sad time for him, I bet.

I just heard that prince Philip was contacted by the police, and
that there are photos of him from the car ride where he had the
       accident.
He was not wearing a seat belt.

Could there have been a deal made? If you hand over your
       driverīs license, no charges.

The article I read said the police decided not to charge him
because he'd already turned in his driver's license. Same thing
ABS just said, only in reverse. Either way, I doubt you or I
would get off quite so easily.

       For sure, Chris!
This could have ended really badly for the two women and the
baby in the other car involved. Thank God the injuries were
minor and the baby completely unharmed.

I read that hardly an old soul has ever been convicted or
charged for a similar accident so I tend to think that Philip
was treated like many others would have been or have already
       been.
One thing in the favour of the survivors in the other car (apart
from their minor injuries) is that Philip will be capable of
compensating them for their car and losses - either personally
       or with his insurance.

I wish there would be a photo released but that's not how the
       BRF works, especially not Philip.
