Yes, JC can certainly reminisce about the eighties. Politically
Spanish democracy could thank him.
Still, he is not a person I applaud ... but I don't study Spain
closely.

haven't had a chance to read the article yet but sure will.
i do not think that JC makes it hard for felipe at this point in
time or at any time. my sense is that he now is and belongs to
the past. i personally do not think that his moaning is of much
interest and doubt that people care about that.
as for the noos and hunting trip affairs, sure they are part of
the story behind his abdication... what we do not know yet is
how much felipe played a role in seizing the power and what
rajoy's role is/was. he was the PM under JC and continued under
felipe. given how poorly the whole catalonia crisis wa/is
handled, one can only wonder what the power dynamics are. i
personally think that the reasons as to why JC eventually
abdicated wiill pale in comparison of what he achieved for
spain. but that we won't know for many years.

She normally wear red well. This time it's a disaster. I think

Letizia has walked into Mathilde's wardrobe and put on an outfit
way too big and designed for a statuesque woman.
Mathilde, Maxima or Charlene could have carried off the outfit.
