Dear William, dear Kate,
I admire the way you carry out your duties, and the way that you
support Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth. The Queen and I know from
our own experience how valuable it is to work together with the
younger generation and how important it is to support one
another in this rather unusual profession of ours...
You have become engaged in important areas that matter to many
people. For example, your Heads Together initiative is
encouraging greater openness about mental health. Tomorrow, I
understand that you will be meeting actors from the TV series
SKAM. They too have raised awareness about mental health
problems among young people – and may have helped to reduce the
stigma that sadly often surrounds these issues.
I hope that you will enjoy the rest of your stay in Norway and
that you will find your programme interesting and relevant for
your work. And I hope that you will bring fond memories back
home with you to share with your family – with our relatives.
Now I invite you all to join me in a toast to Their Royal
Highnesses the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, to the people of
the United Kingdom, and to the friendship between our countries.

I think the British royal family know the Norwegian royal family
more so that might be the reason .

they are related through queen maud who was the youngest
daughter of king edward VII and queen alexandra.

This is they first tour where I can say Kate and Will got right
, Kate looks a if it all fell into place for her . I think much
praise should go to her new lady in waiting who has the
experience, maturity and sense that Kate needed . ( could be
that harry is no longer the third person in the marriage ;D)
