Tiger...So you mean it's the same as if I owned a book and
quoted part of it in a newspaper and the author could then sue
me? If so, I guess I understand that, but I never realized
that private correspondence was copywritten. (I've always been
more than a bit vague on copywrite laws.) It should be
interesting to watch this play out in court. I wonder if any of
the royal press offices knew about Harry's comments ahead of
time? If so, I think they should have discouraged him from
posting them.

Here's the answer to my question of whether or not anyone knew
in advance about Harry's anti-press post. Evidently someone
did, and advised him to wait to post it until after his South
African trip. He refused to wait.

This all shows that Harry and MeMe are very frustrated and out
of balance.
The Africa tour was a success (bar the Range Rovers!), they
needed a success after a series of unfortunate instances. But
they chose to tint it with this lawsuit.
Harry´s statement to the press is almost unhinged and too
emotional. He is mixing things together, his mother´s death,
racist internet trolls who attack MeMe, the mainstream press. He
sees it all as a big conspiracy against himself and his wife. (I
think Harry needs help)
I can understand that they are frustrated over the vile, racist
social media posts, no wonder. I think they in reality are the
catalyst for suing a mainstream media outlet for publishing an
old letter - they need someone held accountable, just someone.
They are so on edge, they are going to burn themselves up.
They should stop reading posts on social media platforms and
stay away from rag mags and just go on with their lives. Like
other royals do.
They can also opt for a life as private citizens, since royal
life as a married couple with a child is very difficult for them

I am so tired of these two and of the racist/diana excuses.
I am tempted to say that most of Megz criticism is related to
her behavior, not to her skin color. I also feel that she got a
free pass from the press before she got engaged and even
thereafter. It's her attitude, disrespect for the institution,
self-centeredness, that are the real issues here.
She creates drama after drama and Harry is so brain-washed that
he won't be able to stop it.

Harry was always looking for some one he could protect, Chelsy
and the other girl ( cant remember her name ) were actually
strong women who didn’t feel the need to say it. Meme had him
Sussed ( maybe it’s the queens private joke with SUSSex ) .A bit
like CP in Sweden , the need to feel a hero needs some one to
play the victim. The press is the bogey man . But Kate , Sophie
Wessex , princess Michael , princess Bea and Princess Eugenie
all had bad press but get on with it as royalty needs the press
. In a few years as Andrew and Edward will know know ( will not
Andrew at this present time ) it’s very hard to get press
attention on engagements. He’ll complain then he gets no
coverage . His a bald man mid 30s not , thrown a teenage
tantrum is a bit OTT.

Charles himself had terrible press so he’ll know this is a
gamble.
Pier’s has it spot on

Harry needs a woman to protect to compensate for not protecting
his mother. He couldn´t have protected his mother, he was just a
little boy when she died. But I think it could be this way in
his mind, he regrets not having been able to protect her.
It is not healthy that he projects Diana unto MeMe.
This will not end well.

Ouch, Piers is savage in that MO article! In my opinion though,
he says it as it is. He takes no BS from those two.

The African tour looks to be very enjoyable.
Harry and Meghan were lots of fun in Australia and it looks like
they are similarly welcomed there.
I'm glad Meghan is taking the newspaper to court for copyright.
It might be a way to curb Mr Markle and the press taking
advantage of him.
Archie is a dear little one. Am I seeing things or is little
Archie a look-a-like for Alexander, son of Carl Philip of
Sweden?
Are the two babies related?

Another unfortunate interaction between Harry and the press. I
think reporters now will be hoping for negative things to print
about their relationship with Harry. And he appears to be all
too willing to supply them.
