State Visit by Singapore - 21 to 22 Nov 2018

At the invitation of His Majesty the King, the President of the
Republic of Singapore, Mrs. Halimah Yacob, will make a state
visit to the Netherlands on November 21, 22 and 23, 2018. She is
accompanied by her husband Mohamed Abdullah Alhabshee .
The state visit confirms the good and close bilateral relations
between the Netherlands and Singapore and offers the opportunity
to expand and deepen cooperation, especially in the area of
​​economy and innovation. Singapore is an important
partner for the Netherlands in the Asian region. There are more
than 1,600 Dutch companies. The country works in close
collaboration with, among others, Brainport Eindhoven and the
port of Rotterdam in the field of sustainable technology and
port and water infrastructure.
President Halimah will be joined by Singapore's Minister of
Environment and Water, Masagos Zulkifli and other government
officials and representatives of Singapore's business community.
Dutch members of the government participate in various parts of
the state visit.
