Hereditary peers daughters and the fight to inherit titles.

While I do think if there isn’t a son the eldest daughter should
inherit the title , I can’t see why Beatrice can’t be The
Duchess of York ect . I find it a bit of double standard from
them that their fighting against what they call an out dated
law not compatible with today’s modern society and fighting not
for the title as such (🙄🙄🙄) but to go
for election in the House of Lords. Now surely the House of
Lords is as dated as the issue of titles . That only a select
few can run for it due to either being elevated or because a
ancestor was elevated 400 years ago. You can’t fight for
fairness in one area that does suit you without the by product
       being just unfair.

It's interesting that of the four women mentioned in the
article, three are either only children or have only sisters.
Only one has a brother and he is handicapped and has no
children. I wonder, if they had male siblings, if they'd still
be of the same opinion concerning primogeniture. Personally, I
think all children born to a couple should inherit titles in
birth order, regardless of gender. But, again, it's interesting
to me that only one of these women has a male sibling.

I find it crazy absurd that the Queen can be a Queen but the
daughters of the peers cannot inherit.
Same as the Muslim royals. Their daughters cannot become
Sultanah and must give way to their younger brothers. So
       outdated :P

       This.
We don´t need outdated institutions stamping women as less worth
than men, coz we are NOT!
