Amazing to see Philip still doing carriage driving at 97 years
old! He may no longer be driving a car but he appears to have
       those horses well in hand.

A collection of never-been-seen photographers of the royal
family, including a young Queen and Prince Philip, are going
       under the hammer.....
The candid pictures, believed to be taken around the 1940s and
1950s, were taken by Daphne du Maurier's husband, Lieutenant
General Sir Frederick 'Boy' Browning, a close friend of the Duke
of Edinburgh's uncle, Lord Mountbatten. He was asked to work for
the royal family on his return home from World War II, where he
was a close colleague of Lord Mountbatten's.

I am watching the Netflix series, The Crown.
It saddens me that they describe Philip as a spoilt, moody,
       unfaithful party animal.
Please tell me it wasn´t so!

I read that a footman at the palace has contracted the Covid 19
       virus.
Hope the man is well and that it has not spread further.

I read that report too, Cloaked, and it said he had "close
interaction" with the queen in the days leading up to his
       diagnosis. That can't be good.

They portray him (in season one and two at least) and sort of a
dirtbag. I hope he wasn't like that. Makes me feel bad for the
queen. Before marrying her, he wa a poor prince. He should be
       thankful.
