Oh no, and they aren't even talking about it on the news here!
       [emoji35]
       R.I.P.
She never married because she did not want to lose her princess
title. She advised Alexandra to not remarry and keep her title.

RIP Elisabeth. She didn't look too good at Henrik's funeral and
       didn't make an appearance at Fred's 59th dinner but I didn't
       think it was serious.
She did have a long-term relationship with a documentary
filmmaker Claus Hermansen, who died in 1997 and didn't fancy
       having kids.
I also just discovered her full name - Elisabeth
Caroline-Mathilde Alexandrine Helena Olga Thyra Feodora Estrid
Margarethe Désirée, Princess to Denmark ;D

THAT is a lot of names!
Marge was horrible to her. She never allowed her to bring her
       lifelong partner to any event.

Her Highness Princess Elisabeth’s cremation service will take
place at Lyngby Kirke on Monday, 25 June at 13.00. The service
will be led by former royal Chaplain-in-Ordinary Erik Norman
       Svendsen.
Princess Elisabeth was baptized and confirmed in Lyngby Kirke,
and the Princess will be laid to rest beside filmmaker and
director Claus Hermansen, whom the Princess lived together with
       for many years.

Sad that her partner wasn't permitted to attend royal social
events with her. And also sad that she chose her royal status
over officially recognizing her relationship with the man she
       loved.

To her it was the right thing to do. I suspect she did it to
constantly remind the branch of the family which are on the
throne, what her branch had been robbed of.
As long as she was a princess, they HAD to invite her to all
       official events. HA

Princess Elisabeth had a successful and interesting career,
       often overseas, I notice.
I thought she looked very frail last I saw her picture.
This is a sad loss to her family.
