I think she mimicks Joachim´s facial expressions, and that

Marie was to Paris on 13 December to promote the opening of a
new shop by Mauboussin, the jeweler that "lent" her a tiara.
She wore a pair of Mauboussin earrings at the opening.
I was uneasy with her getting a loan from a french jeweler, and
this, i.e. promoting the opening of a French shop in France just
confirms to me that this just doesn't look right. She should not
be there.

She should not.
Is Jokke trying to undermine the Danish royal house? He can do
what he wants, he is rich from the "sale" og Schackenborg, so he
doesn´t really need the apanage.
There have been quite many shenanigans lately - after Henrik´s
death. I think that is an interesting detail.

It seems hypocritical to be there promoting jewellery sales when
Nikolai was criticised for promoting sales of a car.
Although I, personally, see no difference in this than all the
promotional work carried out all the time by royals everywhere.
Encouraging people to buy food, clothing, support local
businesses, sport, charities, and the preservation of habitats,
customs etc. Royals have always promoted the Arts and Crafts;
jewellery making being a very skilled and ancient craft.

I don't know Cloaked. A royal is there to support and work for
his country and the country's businesses, art, etc.
I do not see how Marie fulfills her role as a taxpayer supported
working royal by heading off to Paris to promote the opening of
a French jeweler shop in another country than Denmark. Even in
Denmark I would find that weary (I did not think that it was
smart of her to wear a tiara from them even if it was on loan at
an official event). Not to mention that it looks out of touch to
be at a non danish high end jeweler.
It would be different, in my opinion, of course if this were
Pandora or Georg Jensen or any other Danish brand.
Re. Nikolai, there is more to the story
I personally think that when you are part of a reigning family,
like Nikolai is, you should abstain from getting paid for
promoting products. If you give up your title to become a
"private" person and pursue a career of your choice (like Martha
Louise of Norway did), then it's a different story.
Just my opinion of course.

Cara, it is clearly also the opinion of the Danish royal house
(read Marge).
It is as if Jokke and family ex included, are running amock
after Henrik died. Did he keep them all in reign? Jokke does not
respect his mother, but he did his father?
Something is very off.
Jokke is going to host a series on tv, Marie promoting French
jewellery. Nikolai modelling and advertising a car and car
salesman, Alex writing a book, launching a singing career, going
to appear on a tv show for Christmas.

It's Fergie all over again...except in this case, most of the
people involved are still official members of the royal family.
