I personally think its important to have friends and family
members attend weddings when it is possible. Many family members
and friends make it a priority to be supportive on special
events. I see it all the time.

Weddings are expensive especially when you do not live in the

Noor76,
I think you are forgetting that we are dealing with some of the
weathiest people in the world/England. Prince Harry's net worth
is estimated to be around $25 million. Preghan has also worked
and earned millions of dollars acting in the series Suits. So
when money is not an issue, you can send for your family and
friends by paying for airlines tickets and then covering all
expenses when in England. I'm sure it was nothing to secure a
block of rooms in London's best hotels to host Preghan's family
members. I'm sure footing the bill for clothing and other needs
to make their participation in the wedding possible was
financially possible. The wedding was already a monstrosity and
millions were already being spent.
I know people who were not wealthy at all who saved money to do
something similar for their family members.
For some people, having friends and family attend their wedding
is just as important as getting married.

MeMe and Mr MeMe should have invited the relatives to the
weddind... no one on earth that I’ve ever known has just invited
a mother . Making victims always gives them a voice. It wouldn’t
be beyond Thomas Markle to take them to court for visitation
rights . As they are not direct heirs to the throne being 7th
in-line at time of birth it could happen.

Tigerben, Yes, I've never heard of anyone just inviting their
mother to their wedding and no other family members.

I hope that won´t happen!
I think the child(ren) have a right to see their grandparents
and vice versa. They should patch things up ASAP. Thomas Markle
is a fool, but he seems to have been a sweet and loving father.
So the little MeMes will benefit from knowing him and besides,
it is important to know your background and history.

Grandparents get older quickly. There are not that many years
for children to know them before they are dotti, less able to
travel etc..

Horrible! If that was my Dad I would call him and send him a
HUGE check in exchange for a signed gag order. The family
behaves so poorly!
