I tried to watch the video but got bored and turned it off. I
felt a bit sorry for Mr. Markle. I got the impression he was
being used and had agreed to do the interview just to cash in.
Sad and off-putting.

You know, that's an excellent take on the situation. She and
Harry aren't in the news as much as they were before their
wedding and that's to be expected. But on those instances when
they ARE in the news she seems rather low-key and deferential.
Maybe it's the nerves of a newcomer to the "family firm" and the
job required of her. I don't know. But she sure seems to have
lost that "look at me" attitude and confidence she threw at us
when she was engaged.
That blue and white dress even could have sapped the confidence
of Margaret Thatcher, so maybe MeMe will be back in form soon.

Then WHY put it on!! She had to hold it like that because it
split open when she walked, that dress is rubbish through and
through! 4000 pounds worth of rubbish!
I think she is changing herself too much to fit into the RF. My
guess is that n the long run, Harry will resent that.
Can�t be easy for her, I do have sympathy for that.

I don�t have sympathy with her , if she was 23 , then I would as
she�d be young. MeMe has wanted the fame , she seems very
calculating to me , over acts and now has over extended herself.
I would have called a halt if I was the Queen on looking at
Meme�s guest list. If someone has only invited one family member
then I�d be asking questions. One , feck sake going for a
coffee here would involve more than one family member. This
little cute girl act will wear thin with harry after awhile, no
sympathy either with him, he should know no rushed romance is a
good thing in the royal family since the press is open season on
them now.

MeMe's father has given another newspaper interview in which he
says he thinks MeMe is "terrified" of her new life. He also has
some harsh words for the family she's married into, says the
phone number he has for Meghan doesn't work anymore, and Harry
should just "get over it". Yep, that's the way to win the
hearts of your daughter's in-laws.

Her dad is losing his shit! He ain't winning any points by
giving another interview moaning about no contacts, bla, bla,
bla.
I find it weird that Meg didn't fly in to see him after the
"heart surgery". Can easily go after the wedding. She ain't
working anyway. Just appearances here and there for no more than
1 hour at a time :P

I get the feeling that Meg has had it with her family...father
included...and has decided to cut ties with them. Or minimize
ties, at the very least. They've admitted that they didn't see
much of her once she became an actress, so the distance between
them appears to have existed long before Harry came on the
scene. And let's face it, what would you rather have...family
life with a bunch of ne'er do well publicity seekers or life
within the guilded confines of Britain's royal family?

Obviously, Mr Markle is being frozen out. I think it's bad that
he continues with the interviews.
Meghan has too much to deal with right now to also negotiate
the father/daughter relationship.
Personally, I think there is no excuse to cut ties with family -
even if they are strange. (unless abuse is involved)
No one is blamed for their family being odd or difficult.
Meghan needs to find a way to spend some time in comunication
with her father. A private, face to face visit is overdue...
but how does she secure the PRIVATE part of that? They have had
success with other secret missions so I think that will happen.
