Frederik's 50th Birthday related celebrations/events

Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark will celebrate his 50th
birthday on 26 May 2018. On the occasion of that birthday, a
series of events and celebrations will be held.
[b]On 18 May 2018, Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary
will host a dinner at Frederik VIII´s Palace for the board and
shareholders of the Crown Prince Frederik Fund.
On 23 May 2018, Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary of
Denmark will visit Aarhus and a series of visits will be made to
various companies and organizations. The Crown Prince Couple
will attend opening of International Sailing Center at the new
harbour. Then, the Couple will open a new research center called
“Crown Prince Frederik Center for Public Leadership” at Business
and Social Sciences School of Aarhus University (Aarhus BSS).
On 26 May 2018, after the changing of the guards ceremony, The
Queen and Crown Prince Frederik, Crown Princess Mary and their
children will greet the crowds from the balcony of Christian
VII's Palace at Amalienborg to celebrate the birthday. In the
evening, a gala dinner will be given at Christiansborg Palace on
the occasion of 50th birthday of the Crown Prince. In addition
to the Danish royal family, royal family members of other
countries, guests from home and abroad will attend the gala
dinner.
The celebrations will end with "Hele Danmark fejrer Kronprinsen"
show which will be held at Royal Arena in Copenhagen on 27 May
2018.[/b]

I wish he'd shave before all the birthday celebrations start.
His beard is patchy and makes him look scruffy.

the 50th birthday bash on 26 May 2018.

On 21 May 2018, a Royal Run event will take place in Aalborg,
Aarhus, Esbjerg, Odense and Copenhagen/Frederiksberg.
Fred will attend the run event in these cities while Maz will
participate in a 10km race in Odense.
Royal Run is organized by The Sports Confederation of Denmark,
DGI and the Danish Athletic Federation in connection with the
program called "Move for Life" and is supported by the
Nordea-fonden and TrygFonden.

When she is cuddling animals or children, it always looks like
she CONTROLS them, instead of being affectionate.

I think to get a good shot, or any sort of shot at all, of a
young dog, someone has to hold them still!

I don't think it's a controlling look. I think it's a "looker
me" attitude. Like she's posing, always posing. Just for once
I'd like to see a relaxed, natural smile and attitude from our
Mares. I guess that's why I enjoy Izzy so much...she usually
looks normal in photos as opposed to Josie, who seems to have
inherited her mother's posing gene.
