OK, I know a bit more.
The kids won´t go alone. Mostly Mary will be with them. It is
for three months at the school, Lemania-Verbier in Switzerland.

The kids started school in Switzerland. They will be living in a
house Maz and Fred bought ten years ago (nobody knew about
that!)

Xian and Iz are better spoken than both their parents.

what else did they talk about?
what did they ask the kids and what did they answer?
and how is mary doing with her danish? i must admit that i speak
several language but i am not sure that i would be up to
learning danish (and i took two years of swedish!).

Mary´s Danish is very bad. Iz looks a little embarrassed by her
grammar mistakes.
The questions are just the usual blah blah, what do you look
forward to at your new school, what are you going to miss at
home, such things.
Xian looks most forward to skiing, which they have as a class
twice a week. He also looks forward to getting to know another
country and the people there.
He will miss his classmates from Denmark.
They asked Isabella how she thought if would be to speak English
an French, and if they knew any. She said that both her an Xian
have French at school (they also have English, I don´t know why
she only said French).
She looks forward to getting better at both. She also looks most
forward to skiing, but says it more shyly than Xian.

Christian has shot up all of a sudden. He's just about as tall
as his father. And his voice has changed! Isabella is getting
taller, too. I still think of these kids as being little. Not
any more! Did they say how long they'll be in school in
Switzerland? Is it a permanent thing or just for a semester or
two?

Mary’s Danish is bad because everyone speaks English, including
her kids. Bet they all sound like little Aussies
Isabella didn’t mention English because it’s all they speak at
home, which Mary feels puts her in a bad light. Those kids have
been schooled up and down to NEVER put Mother in a bad light

Fred didn´t have time to honour the liberation day of
Auswich/Birkenau yesterday, but he had time to host a hunt
(King´s Hunt) in Denmark today.
He looks really old in these photos!

so that they can be sick????
that fred goes back, yes. he should never have done that three
month stint to start with. but bringing the kids at this point
sounds stupid.
