in a field where there arenīt that many jobs. Besides, her
costume and stage designs are mediocre and sometimes straight
out
hideous.

Would there be other ballet's in their place do you think, Abs?
What is the ballet consuption like in Denmark?
Have people stopped attending the performance of The Nutcracker?
(costumes a la Margrethe)
I thought, perhaps, that the involvement of Queen Margrethe
might have given an extra focus on dance, drawing in extra
patrons each year. But you are there, and it is not? Do many
think like you, Abs?

Yes, many think like me.
My ex used to work at the theatre in Tivoli for which Marge
makes a lot of design, the Pantomime Theatre. I know it well.
There are always ballets and have been for years and years. They
are outdoorīs ballets, everyone in Tivoli can see them. I donīt
think it makes much difference whether Marge makes the design or
someone else.
Nutcracker is shown in the concerthall in Tivoli. Indoors and
larger stage. I think here it does make a difference that Marge
designed. Probably attracts more audience. Marg(e)inally :P...
(In reality she is no better than Alexandra and Nicolai, when
you think about it!)
But sinve it is a Christmas show, I think many people would go,
Marge or not.
What I am most bothered about is that she steals jobs AND that
she does not create the magic that should be in the shows. I
think her designs are mostly quite ugly and amateurish.

Marge on Instagram. She is learning! Nice video opening the
Christmas season.
Putting rice pudding in the attic for the pixies is an old
Danish tradition.
You would put it up there and then the next day take the
children there to show them it was eaten (probably by farm cats
or mice).
Anyway, funny video!
