Jokke owns 1/4 of a company called, De fem gårde (The Five
Farms). Co-owned with the Schackenborg fund and a few others.
Now, this is not nice, but that company received a fine (highest
possible) of 10.000 Danish kroner for not checking safety of
their products before selling them. Even after being given a
chance of bettering procedures after a control visit.
Some years ago, they had a severe case of illegal pesticide
pollution. They unlawfully bought and imported said pesticides
from Germany - so also a case of smuggling, not only poisoning
ground water! Jokke could not personally be prosecuted because
of his immunity as a royal, but other farmers involved were.
It was a rather serious case.
Is it any wonder he is not popular in Denmark?!

I had no idea. Britt Siesbye has been glued to first Alexandra
and later Marie.
Wonder what is behind the resignations.

I read that it is Marge who took away Marie's lady in waiting
and Jokke's private secretary - the alleged reason? They don't
work enough to justify having those people in their staff.

It does make sense. Whatever Jokke and Marie need of secretarial
work can easily be covered by staff in Marge's staff.
The lady in waiting, who was really a friend, seemed so over the
top. But it may be hard for Marie who has become accustomed to
having a companion at events.
