I think they want their children to be easily and truly
multilingual.
Living in France for months will be wonderfully educational.

There is a lot of criticist of Jokke and that fact he gets his
apanage while living outside of Denmark. Mare is quite outspoken
and rather mad about that:

The Danes should be proud of Prince Joachim instead of
criticizing him.
It is the message of Princess Marie who is tired of the trouble
that her husband's apanage case has created.

The 'criticism' began as early as January when the King's House
announced that Prince Joachim would move to Paris to embark on
the École Militaire to attend the highest-ranking French
military training from September this year to summer 2020.
What was not publicly announced, however, was that Prince
Joachim brings his 3.8 million apanage annually to the French
capital. In spite of his difficulty in caring for his patronage
and other official duties to the same extent as before.
And more Danes fell to his chest. In a survey by YouGov for B.T.
Only one in three Danes replied that he was in his right to do
so, while half did not think it was okay.

To Se & Hør, however, she gives the Danes a boon and tells us
that we should be proud of him, as everything he does is for
Denmark.
The same message had Prince Joachim when B.T. met him in the new
French hometown last week.
"You know what. I am on a mission for Denmark here in France,
and this is not something you just get cycling for. I have
plenty to look at here, ”he replied to a journalist who wanted
to hear if he himself thought the annual money should be
unchanged now that he has moved from Denmark.
"And then I owe it also to say: I have been strongly urged -
also by the Queen," said the prince.

The statement - and especially the video, which you can watch
over the article - surprised royal house expert Søren Jakobsen,
who for B.T. Narrator:
"I think he takes it a little arrogantly. Because the case is
that Prince Joachim's mother should have brought his yearly
money to the prime minister, and she didn't, ”he says.
That comment has probably come to Princess Marie, because to Se
& Hør she says:
"He is not arrogant and he is telling the truth. Always."

Nikolai has bought an apartment in central Copenhagen, thus
moving out of Amalienborg.
The apartment is 70 square meters, which is rather small, but a
good size for a student. Cost 4,5 million dkr. - housing is
expensive in Copenhagen.
He will be living in the same neighbourhood as my aunt. Maybe I
will see him from time to time.
