I think lack of rules in the household is to blame, Madde and
Chris seem to leave the children rule the roost.

I agree. Leonore seems to do as she pleases, no matter what the
occasion. I've always thought young children should be left at
home, where they can be relaxed and enjoy playing, rather than
be forced to try to sit for long periods in adult company.
I'm not crazy about Madde's floral headband. Too cutsie.
Adrienne is a sweet baby and IMO could turn out to be the best
looking of Madde's children. Her features seem to be finer than
       her sister's.
Of course Chris' mom was there, looking tightly tuned up and
       lifted for the big occasion.

Oh drat, poor her!!!! Not fair to publish those photos.
About Leonor, she does seem to have som behavioural issues, but
I prefer her antics to robotic children.

Absie...surely there's a happy medium between robotic children
and this. Interesting that the other children have been
wrangled gently into a semblance of good behavior by their
parents. The ones acting unhinged? Madde's two.

I know that she is only four, but a four year old knows when
they have to behave themselves. I'm sure she must attend a
preschool a few hours a day. What is she like then?

I am from Iceland. LOL kids there get to behave any way they
want. Nobody tells them off unless they are in danger.
Parents are calm, guess it's an example for the kids, because
they grow up to be calm parents themselves.
Am eternal cycle of kids acting out to the max and parents calm
       as can be.
I know this is unique for my very small country and no one
agrees with this way of bringing up children! But to me it is
       natural that kids act out.

As long as the kids grow up to be well-adjusted and calm adults,
all's good. However, if adults in Iceland start throwing off
their shoes and rolling around on the floor in the middle of a
church service, it'll be time to revise Iceland's parenting
       program! ;)
