I continue to be amazed that each family has a dress-up closet
of clothes that the ladies use to wear each others'
outfits...generations old, in some cases. I'm waiting for the
day that Autumn or Zara shows up wearing some dress of
Anne's...which is sure to be at least 50 years old since she
wears them herself at least that long.

Good quality clothes, why let them go to waste?
I have inherited/borrowed several pieces of clothing from my
mother and from my father's aunt who had a high end fashion
boutique. Why not? But I see your point, us mortals do it, but
we don't expect it from royals.

I don't really like that type dress, but I have to go with
Vickan. I don't think the flimsy dress goes with a tailored
black jacket.
