Happy 4th of July!
Could do without Trumpīs military parade though. But I have to
say, I had a laugh when I saw this one, wet tank, looking like
it was melting in the rain. It was a sad sight and didnīt look
powerful at all!

Thanks, Abs. As it turned out, the tanks were too heavy to
parade...they'd have torn up the city streets...so they simply
parked two of them by the side of the road! So much for The
Donald's grand Bastille Day copy-cat parade. He gave an
hour-long speech in which he said (among other things) that the
American colonial army did a fine job of fighting the British in
1776 by capturing army posts and airfields. Airfields?
Airplanes weren't invented until 1903. ;D

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving Day for all of us here in the US. I
understand MeMe, who's considered to be an "accomplished chef",
will cook Thanksgiving dinner for Harry and her mother. As it
turned out, the Sussexes didn't go to California after all so I
hope she'll be using that fantastic kitchen she had installed
during the renovations at Frogmore Cottage. Happy Thanksgiving,
Yanks!

Happy Thanksgiving. We do not celebrate it, have only been to
one, invited by a Canadian in Denmark.
It is a beautiful tradition.

Celebrated it with the american club here in Brussels. Too much
food but it was delicious and fun to have a traditional
thanksgiving dinner, with a whole turkey that had to be carved
at the table... and all the trimmings that go with it.

Another year has rolled by and it's Thanksgiving Day again in
the US. For those of you who celebrate it...Happy Thanksgiving!
