Turns out Nicolai is completely innocent in that car
advertisement business.
He thought the photo was just for the owner, but Jokke had made
a deal with him, it seems! REALLY!
Alex made a statement to explain what Nicolai´s reason for
having the photo taken, but she had no idea Jokke had made a
deal with the car salesman. Yesterday she retracted that
statement after having learnt that.
Jokke can do what he wants, and he does. He is above the law.
Poor Nicolai having had to go through that.

I don't see a conflict between advertising to sell something
(dependant on it being not illegal or immoral) and being a royal
quite a way down the line of succession. If we want young
royals to earn their own money they must have freedom. Nikolai
won't receive money from the Danish Governmant, will he?
Everything is sold.
Some sell insurance, real estate, clothing, plates (think CP),
money, lessons in whatever etc.
Mary wears Danish fashion. It is to expose the brands and sell
them.
How is it different to advertise a car? Nikolai advertises
clothing.
Doesn't Frederick drive cars that he is given? (and so
advertises them)
I don't understand. Was the car a contraversial one?

The "problem" for Nicolai, even though he receives no money from
the Danish state, is his prince title thus being in the
succession to the Danish throne.
But actually Nicolai is innocent in the car-thing. It was
Joachim who made a deal with the car company. That is just
wrong. I could forgive Nicolai, him being young and also the
fact he has to earn his own money.
Still, the royal house felt they needed to explain this and
distance themselves from it (which they NEVER do normally) even
when everyone thought it was just Nicolai.
Alex defended her son when also she thought that it was Nicolai
who had been naive and let himself be lured to taking that
photo. But she RETRACTED that after learning Joachim was behind
the whole thing.

I still don't see a problem really.
Zara Phillips promotes clothing and horse trucks and, I imagine,
does deals where she is seen using them.
She is in the line of succession.
If there is a deal in place for Nicolai to promote a car by
driving it, I see no problem. As long as it is declared as a
commercial contract. Payment for advertising in the form of a
car is, again, okay by me, as long as it is declared.
Royals seem to go into the armed forces for privacy, no conflict
in promoting one's county. and perhaps because they genuinely
like it. It should not be the only option.

Cloaked, quite unusually, the Dahish Royal Court has been out
distancing themselves from this.
So they see it as a big problem. We can think what we want, but
it is a big problem since he is in the line to the throne.

Some of them seem awfully young to be considered as marriage
possibilities. You'd have to be willing to wait five or six
years for them to grow up and finish school before you could
snare them. Nic, especially. And then there's Tino, the Greek
heir (at least he'd be the heir if the Greeks had anything to
inherit). If you were interested in landing him you'd best
remember than his sister would be part of his accompanying
family package. Just look at her in that photo. Sheesh!!

Well rich or poor , your spouse’s family are normally annoying
to you anyway, but being rich makes it a little easier I’d say
