We will host Christmas this year, my husbandīs father and his
       son will come.
My husband always cooks Christmas dinner, and he is superb at
it! I will make desert and cookies.
It is roasted duck with veggies and in Denmark the desert is
       always something called, Rialamande.
A rather quiet Christmas, usually I am with my large, very
animated and loud Icelandic family! LOL this will be relaxing!
We will then go to our holiday house probably the 26th and stay
       a week into January.
Then I will go to London for work.

I thought about this thread and about Tiger always being on top
of things no later than yesterday!
My Christmas tree is up, lights on. The mistletoe is on the door
(I know that's now where it's supposed to be but I like it!).
The rest of the Christmas decoration is up too.
       Christmas songs are ready.
I am not yet done with my dinner plan but this will be done by
       tomorrow... I hope...
Love this time of the year!

We were at my son's house on the 25th last year, so this year
they're coming to our house. My grandchildren are now 4 and 5
and want to have Santa come to their house, so my son's family
will come to us on the 26th and stay for almost a week. We
always have a rib roast for Christmas dinner, with mashed
potatoes, asparagus, peaches with mincemeat, sweet potatoes, and
a bouche de Noel and bourbon pecan pie for dessert. My husband
and son do most of the cooking! Right now I'm in New York City
with all the family. We always come at Christmas time to see
the lights and decorations and do a little shopping. This is
the first year my grandchildren have been old enough to come
with us and they've had a wonderful time. We took them to the
Museum of Natural History to see the dinosaurs. Great fun!

All your Christmas activities sound so nice! I am not really in
the spirit yet, will be when decorations are up, which means the
       23.
