I’m alive after my cousin and brother in law’s wedding . To say
I was green would be just about right. But it’s done and dusted.
The big Christmas shop this evening , money in cards for niece
and nephew and then sorted. My favorite day over the Xmas is St
Stephens day . That’s my down day. Hope everyone is enjoying the
       build up.

Christmas tree up and decorated. It is larger than normally,
couldn't get a smaller one, but we made room for it and it looks
       great.
Would normally wait to decorate it until tomorrow night, but we
get visitors tomorrow afternoon, so had to be done so it looks
       Christmasy here. :D

Last working day today, my suitcase is packed, full with
presents :D and heavy :P I will jump on a train soon, hoping
to have not too many people with me fighting about the last
seats available. I'll be then come to a nice place where my
family meets this year. It's a big house with enough space for
us all, we were there last year for the first time - a little
time out. (I probably won't log in here during the time...)
Before I forget it: Everybody dear chatterers have a wonderful
christmas!!! :-* :-* :-* :-* Thank you, absie, again for
creating this place where I feel at the moment as if we were
sitting around a christmas tree :D

colleagues. the night was short. my mom's arrived tonight. i am
feeling the christmas spirit and i wish all of you a very merry
christmas. Swaz is right, it feels like we're all sitting around
       a christmas tree.

Thanks and a very merry Christmas back. It wouldn´t have been
Christmas without gathering at least some of you lovely ladies!

Going to the big smoke today ( cork city) with my mother ,
sisters , daughters and niece to celebrate. Shopping , maybe a

Happy women's little Christmas. Certainly well deserved to have
fun with the girls... and love that you remind us of this lovely
       tradition every year Tiger.
today is also King's day, the day which sort of ends the
Christmas celebrations. in France and Belgium we celebrate with
a "galette des rois", a kind of cake that's made for that
occasion. inside you have a little porcelain figure and whoever
gets it, also gets a crown.
anybody else celebrating this particular day?
in italy, it's befana day, i.e. the witch (old woman) coming to
your home to bring the gifts to the children. quite a fun
       tradition as well.
