"Thank you G-d for the good days you have given me and the
largeness you made of my heart by the miraculous works of your
hands; the garden you gave us to dwell in, all it's creatures
and our people that love you by showing it in the labours of
thier self and hands.
Thank you G-d for dogs and cats and the hearts of children new
to the world, wanting love and loving good things; for all that
was wholesome, authentic and edifying; for blue sky days,
rivers, lakes and green trees; for every flower and herb that
protects, saves, gives strength, easement and comfort to your
humble mortal creatures; for the vastness of your creation that
we may wonder and rejoice in all the days you give us.
Thank you G-d for all that is beyond words in us and the silent
song of our souls resounding in the heavens; thank you that we
are born feeling you are true and giving us the strength to keep
our souls in the ravaging of the ruthless world that everyday
smashes at our hearts and punishes our flesh; our strength and
healing is in you and the works of your hands. Thank you for
your son who calls us to be living sacrifices of prayer and good
works. Thank you for the gifts you give that we can give again
to our families and people, every genius divine, every good
skill, every truer knowing; the works of our hands that please
you lord, that we may know peace and plenty in the patient
waiting and watching for thee.
Cover us oh G-d; grant us shelter under the wings of your mercy;
for we have looked for you most Holy one and our souls grope in
darkness, hoping to find grace of thee and thy forgiveness."
