And given that, I'm not sure it's wise to host secret rogue
forums over here. If you can't block admins from seeing it -
sometimes people are gonna have to log on their admin accounts.

Of course. That's the major caveat. To do that, you couldn't
admin while playing in a game.
I think there's ways you can hide what you see, but it's a
preference thing, not a hard lock.
These child boards, the admin board, and that posts were made in
them are invisible to guests, though.
I'm playing with functionality.

Okay, playing with functionality is cool. :P
I still think rogue forums are best handled by the individual
rogue team and kept separate, but I can see how putting sekrit
moderator boards on here might be useful. Hidden boards make
moderators feel special, lol.

Yeah, AL and I were commiserating one day about the loss of old
Rogue forums, and we kind of half-heartedly kicked around
setting up a place for Rogues to host forums if they preferred
that format, but it worked out to be kind of complicated, so we
never did anything with it. I definitely think it should be a
separate board, though, to reduce the chance for game-breaking
mishaps...like if the back end gets hammered and suddenly the
rogue forums are visible.

For a moment, I was worried you were Furare.
What I haven't figured out is how to let a game mod add people
to a hidden group. But, ultimately, you need to keep one admin,
even if you demote the others to "super user" or whatever.
Which means an admin who can't play. That might not be an issue
if there's at least one willing to sit out, but I'd hate to
force someone to make that decision.
An interesting experiment. Could work for a forum crash test
live game, but maybe it's worrisome for a regular one.

Am I supposed to be seeing this now?
Ultimately, if having hidden boards means that someone has to
not play, I think we can do without them. :P
