So the skins are a colossal headache - loads of lines of code,
and loads of colours to change - and I still can't even figure
out how to change all of the colours. I don't think I really
want to bother with them if we use these boards. >.>

I'm a new account, but I still got the hidden quick reply quote
thing.

you weren't an admin. These are similar to my flag forums, and
i seem to recall some issue with that there. Or maybe it was
just our skin on the admin button.

What happens when you click on it if you're not an admin? Does
it have any functionality at all?
[/quote]
Very limited functionality. You can access the smiley page
(that's a checkbox under permissions to allow or disallow that
for everyone.). And I can "upgrade" the forum. (i.e. send paypal
money). Everything else is invisible or you click it and it
yells at you.

That shouldn't happen; the Quick Reply settings are "Don't Show
At All" in the new member defaults. I don't know why it isn't
doing that.
These boards do actually kind of annoy me a bit because of
things like that not working the way it seems like they should.
And the sheer number of admin options is a little overwhelming.

Did the setting the default to "return to topic after posting"
apply itself to your new account or not?

I don't remember...
I can't make my cursor go where I want.
I guess the admin center is similar to what I'm accustomed to,
so that doesn't bother me, although I remember it being very
intimidating at first. And I'm not a theme designer.

Where can you post now, F?

I can't see any of the secret stuff anymore. I also don't have
basically any of the admin powers anymore. :(
I'm still not sold on the necessity of the secret stuff, though,
anyway. Except an admin forum for like maintenance issues and
such.
Edit: If you're accustomed to this type of forum, can you go see
what I did wrong in setting up the defaults? >.>
Oh, and I can see a list of who's logged in, though I can't see
hidden users anymore. It's only general users who can't see
other people logged in, I think.

We can change your permissions to get more admin powers back.
You don't need to be sold. This is just using test time to see
what we can do, which I think is nice to know upfront.
Let me see what admin powers I can restore for you.

You stole my powers, though, so I'm not talking to you anymore.

Heh. In other news I can't figure out how to make it possible
for people to upload custom smileys. I know Leif wants his
horse one, so I'd like to be able to do that but I don't know
how. :/
