A Test Thread

So let's have a look at this. Again posts are restricted to
60,000 characters, but I know that I can completely remove this
restriction if people would rather, assuming I can find that
particular panel again.

[glow=red,2,300]I wonder if this works.[/glow]
Pretty normal functions aside from that; there are useful bullet
pointed and numbered list functions for those of us who like
lists.
- Bullet
- Points
- And
- Numbers
The smileys are pretty basic but I think it might be possible to
upload custom ones if I knew how to do that.
Edit: Testing out the edit function to see what will happen. :O

It shows up, which is awesome. We seem to have linky quotes on
these forums as well.
I am not entirely sure how to make skins work on this forum is
the only thing; it seems to require more technical knowledge
than just knowing how to find the hex codes for different
colours.

So we do, but as you can see above, I can make a quote and
attribute it to someone without it linking to anything.
Edit: Something exciting - you can set your own posts per page
in your profile! And I managed to disable the "Who's Online"
panel. Or I think I did. :D

But I'm wearing them. :(
Any code that people don't like can be disabled behind the
scenes. Like, I can kill the "move" tags if people really don't
like the scrolling.

Yeah, that is pretty sweet.
These boards seem promising, IMO.
Edit: Well, except for me not being able to figure out how to do
custom skins, lol.

Custom skins can probably be figured out...if all we want are
different color options, we can probably just set up a template
to plug color codes into.

Well, we can just use this default one as the template, if we
can figure out the numbers for the colours. It doesn't look
like hex. The code looks really complicated but then I've
managed to fake coding more complex stuff than that before using
templates, so all I need is the colours. I'm not sure it'd be
the same if I can't make a skin called Banana Hammock. :P
