       thanks ,wishiwon2. I remembered  the  80/20 rule from Tonys
       Management book. when I get enoughh birds to kit, I'll have to
       deal with that task.  I've got records on my computer as to when
       layed, hatched,  band #s  and parent pair, so I suppose if it
       gets down to  it, I can trace some bad birds back to the stock
       pair or foundation pair., but I've never flown them, so  I dont
       know what traits they may have, thumbs up !! These are the Rubys
       that I'm talking about. These other , "Mixed up birds" , well I
       guess we're just learning to gather! I do want a high standard
       for  my Ruby birds. I may never fly competition, but  I do want
       to have the engine to run ;D  Thanks for any tips  Have a good
