Short fly times

Have some younger birds I have started to fly, yet they do not
want to fly for more than 15 minutes or so and never go very
high. Is this possibly from their age which is around two months
or possibly the feed mix? They are currently still eating Browns
breeder feed with no corn.

I don't know where you live but around me it is hot and the
young birds don't want to Fly with the heat. Mine fly better in
the early morning. In the past I have had this problem and used
a few old hens in the kit to help keep them up.

Just watch the feed and be patience. Don't expect too much from
young birds.

I find that with my birds, ( Ruby's, Oriental and White Homers)
short fly time is a direct result of not enough feed.. Try
giving them alittel more then usual and see what happens..
