alloted time

I have a question for the veteran compettitors. I have flown
both the NBRC & WC but only one kit. If you are flying two kits
how much time is alloted to have the first kit trap so you can
release the second one?

Ron, there is no rule that regulates how much time to get a kit
down in order to fly another. It is up to the regional director
and the regions schedule and needs, really. As long as it doesnt
interfere with the next flier flying on schedule you could have
all day. It has been past practice for many regions to plan for
(in essence allot) 1 hour from end of scoring to release of the
next kit. That gives an hour 25 minutes of flight time maximum
for a kit, which in my opinion is reasonable and a good manager
should be able to fit his kit within that time frame.
One of the complicating factors is BOP. A kit that is chased by
a hawk may fly for over and hour without trying to land to
preserve themselves.
