Hi everybody
So what are you folks doing to keep your birds cool in this heat
wave ?

I put some vents in the peak of the roof to let more heat escape
from the lofts.

Im not doing anything different. They have access to fresh air
and clean water, they will be alright.

This is Stan and yes i did. He has some great birds. Iam going
to get a few when my shed is done. The heat has stopped me
because of my COPD but it wont last forever.

Well, for cooling I hang a box fan sometimes to blow through kit
pens and since I have a metal flat roof I sometimes set one of
those forward and reverse water sprinklers on top. It will cool
the tin to about 72 dgs straight from my well, but that doesn't
cool my power bill!! After about 3:30p shade covers pens. I
don't use water often!! Chess
