I was wondering if anyone could share there ideas or methods of
how they treat worms. Also any information about worms, such as
the kinds of worms pigeons can get and the different affects
they have on the birds.
I use the moxidectin pluss tape worm remover on my birds and
havnt seemed to notice any problems but I would love to learn
more about the types and signs.

hello Ty. I 'm still a newbee as you know but, I read on some
web site that they use 2 drops of ivemection down the throat of
each bird,. suppose to get rid of parasites in and out. I tried
it and no harm done. Birds seemed to be better a few days later
. About 4 weeks later i put 3tsp of Epson Salt in gal of water,
then next day probioats for 2 days along with regulair ration.
As far as the scientfics behind it all ?? I can't say. but sure
didn't do anyharm that i can see. They look better fly some
better and don't seem to breathe as hard in s.ga. weather

I use a product called Healthy Pigeon Blend. It is all natural
and You can check it out at

The product includes an EPA-approved
food-grade ingredient which kills fleas, ticks, flies and worms,
virtually on contact. It is a completely inert, microscopic
product that passes through the bird's system, producing
droppings that can also control insects and odor.
