Sick young bird

I have a young bird, approx 1.5-2mo old. It has stopped eating.
I did notice that it was very light but didn't think much of it.
Yesterday I found it sitting, it could not stand. No canker
that I can see. i don't have many birds so I don't have meds
because they would just go bad because I don't have sick birds
except for canker once in a while. I'm feeding it baby formula
now to keep it alive. It is also having a labored breathing.
Suggestions??? thanks Jon

When did it wean? Is it with other birds? Is it possible it
doesnt get to the feed or water due to aggression of others or
something else? How many birds do you have total? How many in
its age group? Anyone else look sick. How are the
droppings(firm, watery, color change)?
Supportive fluids would be good as he/she probably is dehydrated
and could set back recovery a bit. Just orally administered
water may not work as well as the gut motility and absorption
could be impaired as well but is a means that can be done by
you. You can always seek the advice and service of an avian
veterinarian.

There are about 10 all within 2 weeks of each other. This one
might be a little younger. All are flying. i feed them in a big
flat pan that can hold all the birds. I don't know about the
droppings because they were in a kit box and I didn't realize
there was a problem with this bird until I was going to feed
them and it was just sitting and could not stand up. I fed it
some baby formula this morning and it spit some of it up later
after I went to work. It doesn't look very good tonight and
would be surprised if it's alive in the morning. There is no
problem with any of the other birds.
