Scared
DIR By: oldfart

In the last few months the only other pigeon boards I deemed
worthy of belonging to, have closed up. If this board dies from
apathy, there will be nothing left except a tired oldfart
sitting on a hill flying a few rollers. I know there are times
when everyone gets busy. Gardens to plant, eggs are hatching and
life goes on but I also know there are newbies with questions,
veterens with answers waiting for the questions! People, wake up
!!!!!If I don't know, I will find someone who does or try to
answer myself. As long as it does not involve color, ( I just
don't know ) I will give it a shot.
PLEASE, do not let this great site die!
Take care my friends
Thom

I agree Thom so I will start. My breeding season is under way.
I breed from Ball/Turners and Mees. I have 11 in the kit box
and everyone is down on eggs or young again. Here is a picture
of one of this years young.

Hi Thom, yes, things have slowed down. Although I believe some
of it is due to the better weather the country saw over this
past winter so people got started on Spring activities sooner.
But also, I think it goes to show that unless there is a
proactive effort to keep the site stocked with new topics or
polls, etc, the inactively build its own momentum. Starts a
downward spiral.
So in response to your concern, I will begin posting new
material and spend a bit more time here on the site responding
to other posts and answering what I can.
Thanks for bringing this matter up on the board, sort of shakes
off the complacency. Thom, you have always been a huge supporter
of all things RPDC, and it is appreciated by both myself and
Joni. :D

Hey Terry, I am amazed at the color, are both of the wings the
same or different?
Tony, this site has been my salvation so many times. I have
learned so much over the years that would not have been possible
any other way. You and your lovely lady are finest kind! We just
need to work a little to bring R.P.D.C. back to where it was. I
will do all I can to help. Besides, where else will anyone put
up with my sillyness! :)
It is my pleasure to call you friend!
Thom

Both wings are different colors. The right wing appears to be a
dark blue check or black while the other wing looks like
andalusian. Both have WFs
Very cool picture Terry. I saw one similar to that except it was
straight down the middle including the tail. Let us know how it
flies, would be very cool if it was a fantastic roller as well.
Good luck with your breeding.

Mr. Turner's birds are known to carry it.
