What Should You Expect Coming Out of Lock Down?

BOP were bad this past fall and winter. Had to lock my birds
down. Now trying to get them out some. What should you expect
as far as fly time, height, etc after being up 2 or 3 months?

Be patient, they are out of shape. Bring them back as if you
       were training a young kit.
After they start flying the time you want and kitting is back
then you can start working them
       as a team.
       Take care my friend

Well I dont lock down for extended periods like that, so my
       comments may not be helpful.

The only thing comparable that I do is re-fly breeders from time
to time. Typically they are kitting normally again within a week
and flying time with the kit by the end of the second week and
within a month have resumed their former performance.

I prepare them to return to flight ready starting a week or so
prior. I'll put them on a reduced ration to bring excess weight
off them. I will also run them through a trap train routine
again too. I'll restart them with a kit of youngest birds I
have, although I typically feed them seperately so I can
       regulate down their ration.

If you mean 2-3 months of being flown again, I would expect them
to be fully back in form and flying where (height and duration)
you are training them to be. If you meant 2-3 months of being
       locked up, see above.

I locked down my portable for 3 months straight with about 6
days flying within those 3 months. They came out, would not fly
no matter how I flagged. I fly in a open parking lot and they
would take flight, land, I chase, they take flight, and land
further away...rinse wash and repeat for 1 week. This is week
two and they started to fly for 5 mins on Sat, 5 mins Monday, 10
mins yesterday, and today, they flew for 20 mins...yay :). Takes
them some time to get back into flying shape, at least for me.
