I live in North Central Florida and started up portables again
due to hawks cleaning me out. Ive been to two different
locations while starting up these brand new squeeks and have
been hit both times. Any one else live in Florida? How do you
       fly?

       Hello Kevin m
I was having trouble with hawks trying to hit my rollers that
were siting on the loft roof and while flying. It started to be
every week thing. So i would lock them down for weeks in hopes
they would go away. I read that they hate shiny things. So i
put 12 inch by 12 inch mirrors on all my roofs. Six all
together and it has stop them from getting anywhere near my
loft. I always watch my birds fly and if i see a hawk of in the
distance i grab a mirror and flash several times and they leave
the area. I have not had any trouble with hawks using this
method. Now i only see them once or twice a month
Good luck and hope this helps!!!
       Mike F
