Portable lofts with a twist

starting up again trying to do portables again. Two years ago I
flew from the back of my truck on top of a parking garage. Had
mixed success. I was only able to do it maybe once a week, flew
in bad weather, and I wasn't consistent which all worked against
me. Looking for a better way to fly birds without using gasoline
I thought about using my bicycle to tow a home made trailer
around. So I built a wooden trailer from 2X2 pine furring strips
and old set of bicycle tires. Used half of a dog crate as the
portable and off I went. Here are two videos of my first outing.
There are 5 birms about 4-6 weeks old. I only feed them from my
hand and try to do it twice a day. I also try to touch them/pick
them up/hold them a few times throughout the day. Even hand fed
babies tend to spook once they start loosing their voice if you
cut back on the time you spend with them, as I have found with
my particular birds.
