An ash red based bird (red check, mealy bar, lavender) which
carries dilute.

Jon is correct. You need an ash red carrying dilute to get
yellow or cream. The yellow bar came from your lavender cock.

Kevin,
It is a color factor which turns ash red into yellow and
blue-black into silver-dun. It can be carried by a cock and be
hidden but if the hen carries it she will show it. Your lavendar
cock obviously carries it. The cream bar that you got from him
on the blue bar will be a hen. If you mate her back to her
father, you will get cream bar cocks and hens from that mating.
Keep em spinning ;D

Kevin, what Joe mentioned was very good. As we've stated, it
came from the Lavender cock. Since the baby is a cream/yellow
bar, the baby is a hen. Dilute, I believe, is sex-linked so
every dilute baby you get from that pair will be a hen.
