I bought 3 pair of Iranian High Flyers from a friend of mine
and tried to raise some babies but they keep pecking a hole in
the eggs. Any suggestions other than fostering David

Hey David, How old are the eggs when this happens? Is it
possible they are trying to hatch and not making it out?
Take care
Thom

I had the same problem. i found out it was grit related. Don't
remember if I changed the type or just gave them smaller amounts
more often.

I am curious to know if you have solved the egg problem. I was
thinking about chickens today and one thing I know is that egg
breaking chickens are a bad habit to have around, and may also
pass it on to other chickens.
I know chickens and pigeons are different yeah, but I still
wondered if your birds will continue this as a habit now, or if
changing grit amounts feeding and type have helped at at all.
Share with us I am so curious to know. :P
